MessageWhen island residents are not engaged in the facts and vote simply because of SICA endorsements, this is not necessarily a good thing. SICA has endorsed Michael Brown, Liz Wade, Ann Isles, Jim Jackson, Thomas Masters, Lynn Hubbard, Judy Davis, the list goes on and on...One must wonder if their endorsements have worked out very well for them, especially when they go back and endorse candidates that they once fought to remove from office (Ann Iles). Granted, an endorsement works out for them once in a blue moon, like the endorsement of Dawn Pardo, who I believe is doing a fine job. For me, following SICA's endorsements just doesn't make sense. I prefer to make my own decisions as to who I vote for based on that candidates merits. If you have questions, call the candidates directly. Go to meet & greets and candidate forums. Sadly, there were three candidate forums for this election. Our island resident attendance was nothing less than shameful. It's because many island residents depend on SICA to "spoon feed" them and unfortunately do not realize that their vote is being used to further agendas that may not be good for the entire city...something to think about.

MessageIt is gratifying to see our citizens take an active role in guiding the future of our community. Without public involvement, our future rests in the hands of those who may not have our interests in mind.

MessageTo Whom it may concern,
I will hopefully be moving back to Singer Island in the near future (Sept.). I really enjoy living in your community its peaceful and quiet.BUT I was hoping that I could get a recomendation for a reliable, reputable Aparment Complex with a history of fair business practices. Unlike my previous experience with the La Doral Aparment Building 201 Inlet Way operated by Ocean Capri Investment Corp..
