MessageHey there, glad to hear you're still all doing interesting stuff. I play your first album to remind me of home, as I'm pretty far away on the edge of London! Speaking of which, if you play in London I'll bring as many friends as I can carry. smilie

MessagePaul, you're right about us all playing with other bands but there is no truth in the rumour that drop the box are no more! We've never believed in musicians being exclusive to one group or musical genre. Almost every member of every DTB line-up has played with other musicians and bands(as do many other folk influenced bands). Over the past 12 years we have had line-up changes, busy and quieter periods; With Mark on the fiddle we are currently writing and demo-ing for a 4th album to be released at the end of this year. Dinna worry Paul!

MessageSplendid to hear from so many fine folk. Kevin Henderson - just a bairn when he played with the band - now international fiddle hero! Please check out his website and of course the fantastic fiddler's bid site. Really good to hear from Grant Robertson, hope your keeping weel
Grant - still playing golf? aah... the Larmer Tree Festival - one of the best festivals we've ever played.

The band are likely to be playing in London and the south west September/October time. We are currently rehearsing and writing in Shetland for a 4th album. The first gigs of 2006 will be in Shetland probably as a 4-piece. ~Inge is busy playing with Karine Polwart and just being a lovely lass.

The band nearly went to Israel last month but Russell's membership of the PLO and my support of Palestinian bairns wi nae shoes meant we couldn't go on moral grounds!

Better aff doing a gig in the noost, Lerwick, on a friday for a hunder and 50 pund! smilie
