| Message | Sounds like fun, you'll only be a little bit south of Lauren and Olivia (Raleigh and Chapel Hill). It'll be different being back in the south again . |

| Message | Tonja - I saw that on MS Streets & Trips (which is a little more 'trip' maneuverable than google maps). I think I definitely want to see Mt. Rushmore on the way. Pappy - I have been to Chicago. When I've got kids with me, I choose different touristy things to do than when it's just adults. And you forget - I don't mind 'dragging' them with me to see things. ![]() Though I do agree that IL and IN are really crappy driving routes. In 3000 miles, though, I'm sure we'll hit lots of those. Unfortunately. I've still gotta figure out the best route after S.D. That route between IA and NE looks pretty, um... exciting too - lol! Oh - and MS Streets & Trips helps me avoid toll roads. Jackie - really? What about the 'black hills'? I would have thought it'd be pretty. Hmmmm.... thanks for the tip! That's how New Mexico was - theeeeee most boring drive! So flat and ugh. Kendster - I love traveling too, and yeah - I SO need your van! Though we'll have two people in the Jeep, so we'll have two free seats in the van. But still - not enough space to make it comfy. |

| Message | Take route #2! Trust me the Northern States... there isn't much there! During our Honeymoon road trip, it was: "Yep, it's flat and nothing to look at... except eachother :D." It actually looks like probaly the same way we went through part of Montana to the eastern most side of North Dakota. Buy, hey if you like flat and nothing, go for it! ![]() |

| Message | Sorry. I would have hated to have been herding six kids when I was there. There. Fixed. |

| Message | Not trying to bring undue influence or anything, but have you considered how many toll roads there are up that way? |

| Message | The 60 miles or so from Waukegan, IL to Hammand, IN is a nightmare. It will seem more like 160 miles, and is an ugly, industrial, 25 lanes wide, crazy drivers, nastiness. I've seen the so called magnificant mile in Chicago and been to the top of the Sears tower. It was OK, but I would hate to have been herding 5 kids when I was there. I vote for the southern route. This has nothing to do with it including Nashville. Really. Trust me. |

You really need my van, it makes a world of difference! I am just so excited for you guys~~~Yeah, yeah, and yeah. A baby and a move....what could be better? ![]() |
