MessageYeah Daniel - I never really understood the reasoning behind no pants, but cullottes and leg warmers (wow!). I think there is a difference between gauchos and cullottes, but I'm not sure what it is - I think maybe cullottes are fuller than gauchos? lol I'll have to post a 'cullottes' photo of the fam sometime. I'm sure some of my siblings will KILL me!!! smilie
p.s. I remember your mom in her cullottes and tube socks. lol She was SO cool!!!

MessageWhat is the difference between gauchos and cullottes?

One of my favorite pictures of all time is my mom in cullottes to the knee with brown tube socks up to just below the knee, getting groceries (or something) out of the big station wagon in the winter time. I never got that - doesn't cullottes down to the knee + socks up to the knee = pants? smilie

MessageGauchos! NOOOOOOOOOO! RUN! I agree - you will not catch me in a pair again. Only wore them becuase of the school/church dress code. If you don't want to wear shorts - try capri pants.
