Sherry Russell aka Sensational Sherri Martel passed away, this morning, at home. She was 49.

No other details are available at the moment. Police are currently as her residence with her husband.

In 1991, while managing Randy Savage, Sherri was the only woman ever to win the Manager of the Year award.

MessageUnfortunately it is true. Sherri passed away at her mothers house in Birmingham, Alabama this morning. She was only 49. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. RIP Sherri.

MessageAh yes the old school. I am joining David and Meredith on this one! I miss the old school when the WWF was in power instead of WWE (same company i know)but there is big changes! There is no point in watching WWE now.

Went to the Forbidden Planet (a shop in the UK) with my son to get a Jakks Classic wrestler, it was the mountie figure this time but the assistant said that lannys figure has all be pre-ordered so it will not hit out shelves until later this year. One thing that struck me as abnormal in the UK All WWE Current wrestlers on the shelves are in bulk but there are rarely Jakks Classics and they are always the ones that get sold first, this must tell something (fans prefer the old school) I know i do.
