Messagehello.
i was watching old WWE videos from the 80's and -although the genius was not in them- i still remember him.
thanks for the memories.
As well, i see he's active fighting smoking.
My third packet of cigarettes still lies in some drawer from my 18yo...
i just found it silly, boring...not to mention very unhealthy.

Messagesmilie Hello Mr. Poffo; I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much of a fan I am of yours. I grew up watching wrestling in the 80's and 90's. I remember going to watch you wrestle in the Niagara Falls convention center and the Buffalo Auditorium in NY. Your website is wonderful and gives many lessons for life. Now that the WWE is leaning towards bringing back some of the legends that made wrestling what it is today it would be great to see you and Randy back again.

Thank You and Have a Great Day!

John P. Buttino

MessageLanny,
I was studying some tapes the other day and saw a match with you vs. Nick Bockwinkle. Man, you were ahead of your time. You did one of the most picture perfect moonsaults I've ever seen. Great worker. Hope things are going well for you. I purchased your Wrestling with Rhyme book many years ago and have really enjoyed it. My brother (who was a huge Mid-South fan) had me get him and a few of his friends copies as they all remember you from your Mid-South run. If you are ever in Arkansas, please do not hesitate to look me up. It would be an honor to chat with you! Best Wishes, Matt Riviera

MessageJust found this site and I'm looking forward to exploring it. One of Lanny's tag-team partners during his WWF days was Rick Hunter. I have set up a group dedicated to Rick, who is now retired and living in Clearwater, Florida.
The link is:

Keep up the good work.
