| Message | Dan and Jeff, here's a tale from the past, 1957, (I think). I went to St. Louis on a farm building convention. We took one evening to go to Stan Musial and Biggies, a great restaurant and steakhouse. During the dinner, Stan, the man, in person came through the tables and shook hands with everyone. Even though I was a Brooklyn Dodger fan, that was one great moment for me.When you get to St. Louis, Scott Rolen will be able to tell you if the place still is in business. Maybe by now there is a descendent location which is sure to be stocked with plenty of pictures and memoribilia. |
