Pam, Jeff, Anthony, and Joe-also so great to see you and be able to talk with you-I didn't watch one minute of the game. (can you imagine me keeping quiet?) I can't tell you how much you are in our daily thoughts and prayers. Seeing how well you all looked at the Indians game really made you know, that all the people pulling for you are quite a force. | Message | Hello Mercer family, Glad to hear things are going well. Dave and Clark were at the Indians game and sat pretty close to you. I wear a gray bracelet much like the livestrong ones. This one says Sharing hope, and it is for brain cancer. (Of course you know brain matter is gray.) I think about you and your fellow brain cancer survivors every time I put it on. You know I teach at Mooresville HS.  I hope to see you out there, putting it to us during the upcoming sports season. | Message | I just wanted to say that although I did not really get a chance to talk to Daniel or for that matter meet him, I wanted to say the things I do know about him and have heard while I attened Franklin, was nothing but good. I wish that I would not have been so shy and would have shook his hand when I was there. Lord only knows that I had many chances too. I feel that If I ever got that chance I would now. The Mercer family all seem to have a good heads on their shoulders. And for that I admire ever last one of them. They are the type of people that make you smile even when your at the worse point in your life. Thats the type of people that Franklin Community High School needs around.
