| Message | Mercer Family, Here are some of my favorite inspirational messages. I hope you find them as comforting as I do. Do not be afraid to enter the cloud descending on your life, for God is in it. And the other side is radiant with His glory. The great objective of this life is character, for it is the only thing we can carry with us into eternity. And gaining as much of the highest character possible is the purpose of our trials. | Message | Hi Daniel, I want you to know how much you have taught me and many others as well, both adult and children. The true meaning of strength - inner strength is so much more difficult to come by than physical strength, and you have demonstrated tremendous inner strength and continue to do so under such harsh circumstances. Courage - Oh my, you are so brave and steadfast in your fight....you keep fighting and never give up even with all of the ups and downs that have been thrown your way. This as well demonstrates your awesome FAITH - with God by our side always and forever, no task is too daunting! How you and your family continue to cope with everything is beyond me, but I know it has everything to do with a solid, unrelenting faith - and of that, I am truly amazed! I will always be grateful for the many life lessons that you and your family have taught me - it's the REAL side of life; one that we will all have to face eventually. What I really love about you, Daniel, is your love for church and church music; I particularly remember one Sunday when you were singing the closing hymn solo as you were exiting the church - Wow, that was a beautiful sight!!! Anyway, I think about you every single day and pray for continued strength for you and your family. Keep fighting and know that God is with you ALWAYS! We love you! | Message | Although we don't know the Mercer family personally, we've kept up to date on Daniel's condition through this website. We attended this past year's Enis Furley Foundation Gala, and learned about Daniel when he was honored. What an inspiring and touching moment. We pray that the healing power of God continues to work in Daniel, and that the the peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with him and the entire Mercer family. ALL things are possible through Christ who gives us strength. Stay strong in your faith and know that you are in our daily prayers. |

| Message | I do not know Todd Hobson from the previous letter, but everything he mentioned about Daniel and the whole Mercer family is so right.
