| Message | Daniel -- Greetings from Denver, Colorado. I am originally a Hoosier and learned of your fight from a friend back home. I lost both of my parents to cancer several years ago, and since then I have been determined to do all I can to support cancer awareness and promote cancer survivorship. I am an avid cyclist and active in the Lance Armstrong Foundation's efforts. I want you to know that your story is an inspiration and I think about you often when I ride in these grueling mountains. Any time I feel like I can no longer turn my pedals, I tell myself that it is not cancer. No ride, no matter how painful, can be as tough as cancer. You are a hero and a fighter -- don't ever let cancer take control of your life. It's your life - take no prisoners. And always remember: Live Strong. |
