| Message | Howdy. Nice collection you've got there. I live in an apartment in Los Angeles, so I've only got the balcony to gardne on. I have one hardy, and one tropical going in half wine barrels, and a lotus... they do okay. I found your site while trying to find some info on my tropical (zanzibar) i think it is different than your 'star of zanzibar' but similar. the center of mine is brighter orange, and the stamens are a deep purple. I have been looking for a nymphaea caerulea, with no luck, but your site has encouraged me to order some seeds next spring and try growing my own. Thanks for the site, it is great, with lots of pictures and info that we beginners need. |
