MessageAbsolutely fantastic. A true labour of love. I don't (but I have to) believe the transformation of the show pond. Just one thing. May be a little details on the plants in/out/on the pond will be very helpful for starters like me. Anyway thanks. Everytime I go to your site, I have a wonderful time.

Messagesmilie We've ponded in the arid, high-desert Southwest for <20yrs, before the advent of much available literature &/or retail/mail-order outlets. Then came the craze & ponding became easier...Our latitude/altitude dictate hardy flora & fauna, & we treat tropical H20lilies as annuals. The feeder fish are really goldfish--a hardy, mild-mannered sort. Ponds in the desert? why not? It beats watering grass...

MessageGreat site and info. Got hooked on water lilies when a friend gave me 2 Daubens about 4 months ago. These bloom daily, and their offspring are doing the same. I live in Hawaii so hopefully we'll be treated to blooms year round!
