Sis Pinay sa Marbel, agree ako sa imo, may mga tao gid man nga naga take advantage sang mga foriegners, pero mas damo nga foriegners naga take advantage sa mga Pinay lalo na taga marbel. Probinsyana mo, ti pati xa dayon sa sweet tongue ni foriegner,... damo ko nakilala kag nabatian nga naging biktima sang mga foriegner diri sa marbel, kag damo man ko nabatian nga foriegner naging biktima ni filipina lalo na taga- manila, damo man ko nabatian nga success story, if u want 2 be success sa business, dapat ikaw ga supervise, di pag-isalig sa iba. Kwarta na na xa, mainit ang kwarta. |

| Message | I would highly recommend that foreigners do not invest here unless they are actually living here because I know you need to constantly supervise anyone you have working for you.If you are not here to supervise you will find that human-nature is hard to resist.Plus once you find someone cheating you you must deal with fast and no mercy because others are watching.If you do invest here then start small because if the one steals they will steal small just as quick as large.You will not need much money or time to figure if you can trust them.Most overseas workers know someone that has taken advantage of them or a friend they know with the problem.Remember a friend in need is a friend indeed.People will like you because of money. |

Greenbucks is really a hot issue especially when everyone including the extended family wanted a piece of it.I cannot really blame you at all. | Message | My lone rant on my unsucessful experiences in the Philippines could easly be drowned out by hearing all the numerous sucess stories that many of you could post here real and imaginary. I would love to read them and maybe I could learn something from them. I can't speak tagalog so if you would want me to read them then I will have to have them in English. Thanks. I look forward to hearing your stories and will check back and not post again til next weekend. |

| Message | Just to set the record straight I have found no difference in filipinos as in filipinas. So it is not just the women of Philippines that I refer to. Also I have experienced the same mindset throughout the Philippines so it's not just people from Marbel that I refer to as well. I would probably like you and hopefully you would like me if we were to meet in public. You would probably be a nice person to share lunch with or to see a movie with. I'm not saying that you are a bad person. I just believe that foreign men should be aware that what applies to filipinos doesn't always apply to them. That they should be careful and not let people acting innocent and sweet cloud their mind into thinking that they should trust them. I know many people as I am sure that you to know that I would not mind being friends with but I would never lend them a large amount of money or go into business with. If this make you happy I will say if you ever lend money go into business with a filipino/filipina rather than think of it as a gift and do not expect repayment. When you think in that way that you will never see your money then common sense should tell you to avoid putting money in the Philippines. I am an American. I do not differentiate between ethnic groups. If you love America and if you will defend America both domestically and abroad. And if you choose willingly to accept the language, culture, boundaries and the rule of law then I consider any citizen an American. |

| Message | Point noted...thanks for the unsolicited advice from you.Its just that this guestbook is intended to connect with family and friends. There might be some forum you can discuss this matter without putting the filipino especially women of Marbel in a bad light.I truly understand how you feel but I guess those who are reading your messages will not be happy as you think.If your wife came from Marbel,I felt sad for her coz you demean her in a way that you look down other women. In sure you're a good person. Just felt bad you had to announce it here in the guestbook.Goodluck to you,hey if you dont appreciate us just chill out.  |
