MessageWonderful cricket at the weekend you Bradninch lads. What a joy to see a team growing in stature and maturing with so many young cricketers performing so well. Playing against the best in Devon will raise Bradninch cricket and all those who play at the glorious Kensham Park to a new level. Next stop a visit from Exeter this Saturday, cant wait!

MessageHi Kirstein,
I will make some enquiries regarding any photo's of your Dad. I knew your Dad very well through the cricket club. He was our scorer for several seasons, and scored at all different levels of the club for us. He was one of those nice guys you could always rely on to be there every week. Your Dad was a good man. I am not sure if we do have any photo's but will try and find out for you.
Say Hi to Steve aswell for me. I have played many times against Steve both against Braunton and more recently Barnsaple and Pilton.Have had some good battles with him, he is like me very competitive. Your Dad would be very proud looking down on us now at Bradninch, as we have reached the dizzy heights of the premier Devon cricket league for the 1st time.
Kindest regards
Paul Nott

MessageHi
My dad was John Gorfin who used to live in Bradninch and was a scorer and regular visitor at Bradninch Cricket Club before his death. My husband (Steve Moore) plays first team cricket for Barnstaple & Pilton cricket club and my young son (John's Grandson) plays for the colts so cricket is well and truly a big part of the family!!
I was wondering if anybody had any photo's of my Dad whilst he was at the club? I haven't got any so am desperatly trying to find some. If anyone can help I would be truly gratful.
K xx smilie

MessageI just wanted to pass on my condolences to Jane and the family of Dick Fogden. He was a much respected man who bore his illness with great dignity and fortitude. His determination to continue with life as normally as possible was typical of the man.

It was a priviledge to have known him, to have shared a common interest in Bradninch Cricket Club was a bonus. He will be missed by many.
