| Message | To ALL TELUGUS OF MALAYSIA, It is very disappointing to note few of the Telugu mithrulu throwing out words such as BE PRACTICAL YOU BUM pertaining to the saree fair at the JB celebration in the guset book-from Macau ( who's identity is called X Silent Observer X ).This is uncalled for for the benefit of Telugu's i mean young and old.Give due respect the web page wherever possible otherwise we are tarnishing the fellow telugu's and the leadership of our beloved President-Dr Paul Naidu / Dr Achiah & his committee.Needless to worry about pressing issue about petrol because TAM do not owe any wells such as PETRONAS CARIGALI.....!I sincerely hope all is well if we put our hands together and uplift the pride of Telugu's.JAI TELUGU THALLI. |

Many telugu ladies are not going to throw all their saree from their wardrobes because the borders are on the other side of the saree. Be practical you Bum! Let's move on to a very important economic subject - the recent increase in petrol price. Don't you think the telugus need some help in this area. How to help overcome this problem. This is a pressing problem now. Since you fellows are so good in giving comments, let's see how you can help !!! Please brainstorm ! |

| Message | Namaskaram, I would like to urge the webmaster of this site to immediately either shut this site off or in the interest of all good mannered people, to filter all these postings which I feel are coming from illogical and half -baked wisdom lacking nutties. Instead of getting a feel of some great, supportive and forward-looking news, we are fed with nuisance ranging from 'kudupayidi' to maids having lunch drg the GJ celebration. Jeez! aren't there better things to think and talk about. C'mon folks may you fellas shut your gaps or better still exchange your contact nos and check out a place where you folks could go on verbally debating on any issue all day long. Who cares! | Message | Namskaaram! Reference is made to Teluguputrudu's query posted on 11-3-06. With due respect to all Telugus who have diverse opinions on many matters pertaining to Telugus in Malaysia, it is my humble submission that there is no hard and fast rule in wearing of sarees right side or left side. It is noted that it had been a norm for many Malaysian women to wear saree right side which can be traced back to their origin in Andhra. HOWEVER it is errorneous to represent that all Telugus wear saree right side. One should be careful in making public statements especially when one knows that in reality that statement is partially true. It would be better to state that if one were to see an Indian woman in a saree worn right side it would be safe to say that she's a Telugu. That would represent the current status quo. Thus we will not be contradicting ourselves. The end of this argument will never be reached. Since it was an interesting posting by you I have endeavoured to highlight the case from a different perspective. Shall we proceed to more pressing matters!? Jai Telugu Thalli! |
