| Message | Hi Shane---It has been a while since I've been on the computer, so I decided I should catch up tonight. I'm pretty excited because I will finish harrowing tomorrow!!!! Then I can just ride horses and catch up on yard work. (Probably should do something about the housework too   ) It looks like I should be caught up on my "spring" work by about July 1.  I'll probably just have to prioritize like usual---which means the housework will be at the bottom of the list!   I'm looking forward to having Kelcey come home, but not sure when that will be. Either Sunday or Memorial weekend. It will be nice to have her here for the summer. Hopefully her horse has a good year. That was a nice article on the Gaffney site. What a nice thing for them to do. | Message | Hello Shane, Are your pain meds working for you?? I know that you are really tough and it is hard for you to take meds all the time. .. Hope you are staying busy this week... Believe it or not  I only have one more coat of paint on one wall left in Peter and John's room... It does look alot better, but painting over dark paneling sure is alot of work. .. Mary's new kitties have made their home under our back deck, they have gotten a few posts knocked over.  .. When they get bigger we will have to fix that... Our ducks are chasing Mary all the time and help to keep her on the deck.  .. The female is laying eggs, but not sitting on them... We have a busy week here, Ben and Luke have district track on Wed.. Hope that Ben can make it to the state meet... | Message | Shane, Jesse has kept me up to date on all that is going on with you. It has been a little rough... but I bet you still have that mischevious grin and of course your good looks. I think about you often and wish there was something I could do to take away your pain. I also think about hanging out with you between perfs, (shooting pool, drinking beer, or playing ping pong) and consider myself blessed to be your friend. Even with your great achievements in the arena, I think your attitude and faith through this trying time will be your greatest legacy. I know when my Mom was sick, I grew to hate the Mayo Clinic.
