| Message | Hey, Shane, I just wanted to let you know how excited I was to get your scholarship and that I was really glad you were able to come out to Casper to present it to me. It was really great to meet you in person. I just wish I wouldn't have had to leave that night. (I did win the breakaway at the rodeo I went to though!) It would have been fun to stick around and go out with you. You have been such an inspiration to me. I feel so belittled by your story. My knee surgeries don't hold a candle to what you are going thru. I think quite often of your positive attitude and determination and I am trying to model myself after that. You are a strong person, Shane, and very admirable to everyone who hears your story. God Bless you, and good luck. Jyme |

| Message | Dear Shane, I keep reading your updates. Seems like just yesterday you were out her in Hornitos after the Reno rodeo. I think a bunch of you bull riders stayed the night and I remember when you all came in you headed straight for a bed. Some of the others weren't so lucky as they had to sleep on the floor. They were the ones that took their time and slowly came into the house. You snooz you loose. Keep on keep'in on. You are in my thoughts and prayers. MJ |

| Message | Hey Shane, So sorry to hear you have been so sick..  . You are in our prayers as you seek a new doctor.. I hadn't checked your site for a few days...sorry... things have been super busy here.. but just because I don't write doesn't mean I don't think of you. You are in our prayers and thoughts each day..Ben had 4 wisdom teeth removed on Friday in Lincoln at the dental college... He is finally feeling a little normal again.. Still looks like a chipmunk.  . John had his 10th birthday yesterday.. He is into Superman and The CARS movie right now.. Got a couple of new games... one is called TRACTOR TIPPING.. it is from the CARS movie.. It was a cute movie.  . We have baseball games again this week.. I have been deep cleaning Al's shop.. you would be amazed how much better it looks, but I still have a long ways to go.. Maybe Al will even learn to be handy  if I get his shop in order for him.. Thank the Lord for carpenters,  plumbers, electrians,  and mechanics... But Al is a GREAT RANCHER and for that I am really thankful... Mary says to tell you to get better... I love bullriding as well but havent been able to go last 2 years. I would really have loved to see you in action. But you are in action now for the Lord witnessing to others by your great courage , perseverence , and faith. | Message | Shane, I never met you, but I know your father, and he is such a wonderful man, and he certainly is proud of you. I wanted to let you know how much I admire your courage and strength. I honestly don't know where that kind of determination comes from, but judging by your father you certainly have no shortage of character. He always speaks so highly of you, and his face lights up at the mention of your name. I love to hear him tell stories of you and your brother growing up, what times you had! I would add one piece of advice, stay the heck away from those bulls - horses are SO much nicer! Just kidding - it's your passion and everyone respects you for following your heart. Stay strong, my friend, I can tell you are a remarkable man and have the love and prayers of many, many friends who are thinking of you, and I would like to be considered one of them.
