MessageShane,
I do all the rodeo coverage for the TV station here in Tucson, Arizona. We interviewed you several times when you came to compete here. You were always so nice! I just read your last post about stopping your treatments. I have a disease called lupus, and even though it's not as serious as what you are going through, I completely understand your decision to end your treatments. That decision was between you and your doctors. What happens now is between you and God. I want you to know that the Tucson Rodeo Family is thinking about you and praying for your return to better health soon! We hope to see you back in Tucson someday!
Godspeed to you, Shane.

MessageHi Shane,
I've been thinking about you. Today we were in your old neck of the woods---the beautiful Black Hills. smilie The hills are roaring. smilie You see we had to go to Sturgis for alfalfa seed. What a time to go!!! smilie smilie I never knew so many Harleys existed!!!I kept an eye out for your friend Dustin Elliot. Never saw him smilie --well maybe we did, we don't know. I probably should not have gone because now I sure would like to get a motorcycle too. Before we turned 40 Gary wanted to get a sports car and I wanted a motorcycle well now it is almost 2 decades later. hmmm The family would probably be shocked don't you think? smilie smilie

I hope you've been able to take in some of the fair this week (if you want to, that is).

Take care and God Bless,
Sandi

MessageHi Shane---I'm glad to hear you are home. It sounds like you are busy. I'm glad you are able to get out and check cattle, etc. Just what the dr. ordered, huh??? smilie
We are hoping to be at the end of our disasters for the summer, so hopefully Kelcey will have a good weekend. The college fund isn't doing too well this summer. smilie She's up at Chambers next Saturday so maybe I'll have to make some rolls for you two convalescents.
It's hard to believe that it's almost time for that new grandbaby to get here. I guess around the end of August. Reece and Bryan have been coming to ride with me about every day this week. I decided they needed to have higher priority than the 5 year old horse that acts like a 2 year old (my preoccupation for the last 3 summers) I'm hoping that Bryan can ride on the cattle drive next month. They are pretty fun. I told Bryan maybe he should go to a kids rodeo. Would he like to run barrels like Kelcey? No, he wants to ride a sheep! smilie smilie Not what Grandma wants to hear! He liked the motorcycles at Burwell too. So we have some brainwashing to do.
Take care. See you next week.

MessageShaner, God bless you. You are in my daily thoughts and prayers.

Lonzo, the reporter had struggles. Truthfully, though, he did better than I thought he would. Not sure what that says about him. You did a good job, though.

Robin, nevermind. smilie

MessageDid you get any milk for that cereal? It was good to see you, and sure was glad to get ya at the massive airport in Wellington. Sorry about taking off so quick at Burwell, oh well, it wasn't actually cool outside. what is the name of that Kid Rock song? Heading to Dodge City Thursday, then OK City Fri-Sat. I'll call after I win both of them.
Ted-that reporter has difficulty getting the story straight. Maybe he needs some schooling?

I think Robin would smother ya Shane with that hug, but what a way to go....Maybe.
Peace Out
