Please let those who Shane loved and made a part of his extended family share in the sorrow of his loss without hesitation. As God gives you the strength to say your final good-byes know that Shane is at peace. Keep the peace here on earth for him. They will know you are christians by your love. | Message | Paul, Chad, Jesse and Jo, We are so sorry for your loss. Shane was a very special member of our family. Even though we were not able to visit him lately, our hearts and thoughts have been with him constantly. I was struck by the loving picture of you sharing James together the other night. So I decided that I would read it again and "share" it with you. Lately I have been feeling that God wants us (me specifically) to be more loving and forgiving. James could not be more clear about what a loving, forgiving gracious God we worship, and how he desires for each of us to reflect that in our lives. Thank you for sharing that scripture. It is a comfort to know that Shane is rejoicing in that gracious Lord's presence, free from pain forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I left after seeing you last night feeling like I had seen a miracle.  .Here was a dad cooking supper for his 3 sons.. and you had come from 3 different states and had put your lives on hold so you could all be at Shane's side to help him ... We live in a world where most people can't even make the time to call, send a card, or stop for a visit...Even for family.. I know we get so busy here that we don't make time for our families like we should.  .Shane has been blessed to be the baby in your family.  .WE all know the baby is always the favorite.. .You can ask MARY.  ..It was sad to see Shane having a hard time breathing, and we are praying that it can get better... we know you guys have all the medical help he could want.. and God is on Shane's Side.  ..
