| Message | I have only had the honor of meeting Shane's brother Jesse and a brief conversation with Tall Paul but through those meetings I found the Shane Drury book. I read it in one afternoon on a bus ride where other's watched me laugh, cry and hold my hand to my heart through it all. I can't wait to reread it and use it as a study of inspriration. Shane Drury and the "Drury boys" (including Tall Paul) are a true inspiration of family love, faith and triumph through tribulation. |

| Message | Man, I didn't know Shane very well, but I had a couple of classes with him in middle and highschool. Anyway, having closely alphabetized last names, I found myself next to him in a few classes. I remember some girl asking him how much of his body weight (it was a science class) was muscle, and he was like, "All of it." Her response was, "No internal organs, nothing?" He said, "Nope, that's all I've got, muscle." It was the smirking matter-of-fact of his answers to these questions that I can't characterize well enough to do Shane justice in this post, that I wish I could. It wasn't until I heard about this book that I caught-up with him. He'll be missed. |
