| Message | jonniedear- I like that idea Hank. I am hoping to have the wagon running in that class next season. We could pull over in the Moore overflow lot on 17 and continue on to the pit. I know someone with a big red Chevy that would probably be willing as well. Not to mention, it would give the pit a little publicity if some of the trucks had advertising for the pit on them as well!! I'd vote yes on the poker run!! |

| Message | Hey trig its Hank. Glad to see the brake lines worked for you. Good run Jeep runs well keep up the good work. Andrea as far as the stuff for the winning of the points: I know that my children look forward to the jackets, if they can win the points to get one. The way I look at it it means more to them than a little bit of money which they would spend on something stupid and forget how they got it. Now as far as the rules in the classes. I don't see where brakes make a difference weather it be a drive line brake or 4 wheel brakes. This is a safety issue. Drive line brake actually stops you quicker which actually is safer. Remote transfer cases came stock in all makes of the trucks so that shouldn't be a issue. I guess a cubic inch rule will limit things as will a carb limitation but you can work a carb to get what you need. I believe that to run the class it should be the old fashioned poker run. Nobody is gonna burn up their motor on a poker run to win what $250. Have the people that run that class be registered by a certain time then take them on a poker run from the pit to Jacksonville, go down pineygreen road to Highway 17 turn right, pull every one over on the side of the road shut off vehicle for 10 minutes then crank them back up go to maysville and come back down belgrade then smith rd and back to the pit. Who ever makes it can run the class. Easy enough. Will take what at the very most 2 hours. I am intersted I'm buildin another truck. Hank |

| Message | food for thought! Most gearheads that spend enough to put 44 inch tires on they're truck have made some mods to the motor to pull the tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Message | Have to watchout for late model "stock" trucks. You can run pretty wild cams in vehicles with variable valve timing, they will still pull vacuum and idle really smooth. They will "come up on the cams" as the rpms increase. I am not sure how you can pinpoint this but, I am sure that a tech in the know could. There is only one class that I think needs to be added for next year. A diesel class or a forced induction class. I don't think it is fair to run a naturally aspirated engine of any sort against a forced induction engine of any kind. Just my take on it. Peace out!!! Seee y'all in a week!! |

| Message | Andrea- I am looking forward to winning the jacket this year!! That was the goal I started the season with! That's just my two cents though. As far as the late nights..... The whole staging and communication is a good point but, I would also like to see the racing start a little earlier. I was under the impression that we were supposed to be registered by three thirty so racing could start around four this season. It seems like it is still around five or five thirty that we are attending the driver's meetings and not starting racing until sixish or so. I think a good goal for next season would be closing the registration window a little earlier and starting the racing a little earlier as well people being staged and ready to roll whem their class is called. Once again, just my two cents!! |

| Message | I think a nice plaque or a three to five foot trophy would be nice. Maybe what ever you would spend on a jacket give in cash, cause believe me times do get tough for the middle class family. Especially with four kids. It's just an idea you can run with it or not. Im just not big on jackets if its cold i stay inside. Thanks 'mike' |

| Message | Hello all! Good racing Saturday night. Trust me the track officials and employees don't like running all night either. We have children that don't get home and in bed until 3am alot of times, and then we have to work the next day as well. The biggest thing we see at the track that could save alot of time is when your class is called to stage area PLEASE GO THERE, if your broke and not running please LET THE TOWER KNOW, we waste alot of time waiting for trucks that have been called to stage 3 or more times, or we're waiting for a truck that's broke down at the wash down. There are plenty of people out there that can relay a message to a track official for you. Help us out here... |
