MessageWhat I would figure the meaning of that rule to be: If you have a 2.2L 4cyl S-10 and swap in a 4.3 v-6 that would be a stock engine conversion. Or replacing the 300ci 6cyl in your ford with a 351w v-8. Someone correct me if I'm totally stoopid on this one.

MessageTricky- Your right. It just isn't right though. Will just have to make sure they are not in the same class next season.

Demon off road- I will check you out next race. I would like to pick your brain a little bit on the 4.7 performance. I know that with in the limits of what we can do to them, it would be hard for just about anything to keep up with them. I keep wondering what a standard cab Dak would do with the 4.7 on the flat track.

Hopefully, the rain gods will look down favorably upon me for the jamboree. A sloppy track is how I beat Jeff Lambert in his Teal Ford. i wouldn't have had a prayer if the track had been dry. We'll just see what Craig is going to do about it and go from there.

Your doing exactly what he wants getting agitated.Leave it alone and lets see what he has on race day. if the track runs in your favor you win if it runs in his favor he wins. win or lose its all fun . I will always congrat the person that beats me thats just good sportsmanship.Your in a catch 22 because the class did not rule against diesels they used to have their own class but no one wanted to run them till they came out with programers for them . maybe they should have their own class again unless they cant stand their own compatition.Any way take care and remember kids read this too and their smart enough to know what $$$ and @&%& all mean .

Messagewylman, like said below, pray for rain. A 6500 pound dirtymax on street tires will come to rest at about half track if it's nearly as wet as it used to be in the flat pit. And will struggle to post a decent time if it's slick at all. Also, I've done the 4.7 dodge thing before, you CAN stomp his a$$ and remain class legal, but you wouldn't want to do it if you drive the truck everyday. You have the rpm, and weight advantages big time, just hard as hell to make full use of them in A street without losing ALL of your fuel milage on the highway.

MessageDude, grow up. It's like Tricky said. If that track gets sloppy, I will hand you your xxx. Even with your truck being illegal for our class. Know this, if your truck doesn't pass tech, you will not run. I have been assured that your truck will be teched before you are allowed to run A street again. By the way, I will get mine.......I am going to finish 1st in the points for the season. YOU CANNOT catch me...... Then if your turbocharged illegal diesel is allowed to run in the same class as me next year, I'll pull a Mike B, I'll let my truck sit in the parking lot, drink beer and watch other people run with trucks that out class or are outclassed by their competitors. I don't care. I hope you get your kicks out of beating trucks you have no business running against "Super Diesel" I hope you get the runner up plaque this year, At least you will witness a truck getting 1st place honors that has had money put into it, that remained legal. I wish we could run two wheel drive buggies.... I would build a 2.0 liter buggy that would stomp your xxx for under $2000. We would see would be raising hell then!! If the shoe were on the other foot, you would be pissed off as well. Fear not, you may finish in A Street this season. You will be in a class of your own next, or I just won't run. I'm not going to compete against a truck I cannot "legally" beat. Let me hang a Paxton on my 4.7...........

All you have to do is pray for rain. I dont think a duramax diesel will do real good in a wet track with street tires. But i could be wrong.

Message2x4 spectator- you couldn't have said it any better. I am going to do all I can to keep him from being allowed to run in the A street class at all. Nevermind, waiting until he runs better than the 4.7 he ran last race. Seems like someone who knows there truck isn't legal, wouldn't be bragging about going after a track record that is close to .04 faster than the time they laid down the race before. Pretty brash.......... I guess that comes with being young.
