MessageLenore and I are excited about the response we have been getting about the reunion. We have received over 40 emails. We have heard from classmates from as far away as France and Vietnam.
I talked to Bill Hemberger and Ron Stratten. Both are planning to attend. I have been in email communication with Leigh Callaway who is hoping to make it out. We are getting plenty of help from local classmates. All is going well. The official invitations will go out right after the first of the year. We will also be posting an invitation on line which you will be able to copy and send back to us with a check. We are trying to keep the cost under $100.00. We will let you know more as plans go together. Email us, if you have any questions.

MessageThis will be my first re-union. It would be great to see the folks I remember from Mr. Cowherd's registry: Stan, John, Bill, Wanda, Carol, Hank, Rosetta, Henry, Winifred--those are some I remember; I'm sorry about forgetting some of you. And the students from Mr. McCarthy's Latin classes; the guys from frosh-soph football (I had little talent, unfortunately, but I remember you). I have forgotten so many people, but it would be good to see all of you and try to remember.

I have taught philosophy for many years and now teach at Chicago State University (where I have been since 1987). I became very political in the 1960s and have remained so. I'll tell anyone who wants to hear.

I married my college sweetheart, whom I met on the first day of Math 1A at Cal in 1960; we've been married for forty four years and have a daughter who is an anthropologist.

Our yearbook said I was "often boistrous," but my friends called it "joie de vivre." I still have it. See you in March. And email me if you would like to e-chat.

Nostalgiacally yours,

Paul
