MessageThank you for sharing your inspiring designs. Everything was beautiful and witty and impeccably made. I make bead-woven jewelry and I was looking for a turtle motif that captured "turtle-nicity" is the smallest number of stitches per inch. If I make that bracelet for my friend who loves turtles, I will send you a picture.

Best,
Terry

MessageHi Ellen. For many many years I have followed your newsletter and read the many interesting articles. I never once offered one for you. I will now try to rectify this. I will leave for a tour of Britain on the 12th Sept., 3 weeks of immersion in textiles, mostly Samplers in various museums in Scotland etc. I promise to send you my views and comments on this trip after I return Oct. 7th as I shall keep a careful diary. Between you and me, at 80 years I expect I shall make a few errors, but what the heck I will give it a go regardless. Many thanks for the past years newsletters - I loved them all. I just finished the Boscobel Oak, just about absolutely reversible. That cataract surgery sure paid off.
Regards, Shirley smilie
