MessageEllen:
Thinking of you and hoping your back and eye is doing better at this post. I love your blog, finding it today. Gosh your home with all your works displayed is so lovely. I left a couple messages for you and hope you get them as I want to know that name of the sampler I asked about. Do take care and stay safe.
Shari

MessageHello Ellen. Sherelyn gave us a little talk on her last trip to USA at her Stitch n Natter day, saying she spent time with you. We always enjoy our time on that once a month Sunday. I purchased your patterns `With My Needle`and`Of Female Art`s`which she had on a frame showing where she had spent time stitching. This decided me to do this as well. I have yet to kit this up. I do enjoy stitching your designs.
My husband and I are travelling to USA in September to see my friend Susan(she lives in Ohio) and her husband to celebrate 50 years of us being pen pals. I also hope to catch up with Dee ( she use to own a stitching shop in Ohio in 2004) and the stitching group that meet there. At the moment I have no photos of my finished or work in progress of your designs that I have worked on. Will do so soon. smilie Happy Stitching.

MessageI enjoyed reading your time when you were in Springfield, IL last May, 2015. My husband and I were there at the same time visiting the same places you were at. I enjoy doing counted cross stitch and have purchased the patern of Lincoln's house to someday stitch. I also have read the book Mrs. Lincoln Dressmaker by Jennifer Chiaverni.

Thank you
Margaret Childs
