MessageThanks for posting the photos of the Salley Mavor exhibit. They are amazing!!

Great idea for a baby gift, plus I'll have to get a copy for myself. Looks like she has a new book coming out soon too.

It looks like a lot of fun to stitch all the figures and backgrounds. I'm stitching a Hardanger tree top angel and I didn't really like the recommended head. I think I'll try Salley's method and make my own.

MessagePlease add me to your mailing list. Would love to know of cross great cross stitch shops in Texas or Oklahoma. Since Aidaworks in Lewisville closed several years ago, I have felt so lost. I have several hundred designs and have been cross stitching for 33 years....I change out all of my designs with each season and holiday. smilie

MessageI really appreciate your sharing your visit to the Bag Museum. I do not have the opportunity to travel abroad and am interested in historical clothing and accessories. By sharing your visit and photos, I learned a lot that I was really interested in. Thank you!

MessageHello-- I see you are an avid collector of Whitman's tins. Two questions, given your experience with them-- do you know when the more elaborate design (with the pegasus, etc.) turn into the simpler one with the little bird in its stead? I had seen some information on this somewhere, but cannot find it. Second q: do you have the bicentennial 1979 tin? This is one Whitman's commissioned to commemorate the revolution, and the tin is also a collector's item. Thanks!
