| Message | A cracking night of country music was provided by Settlers Creek on Saturday night. For the select few that supported Rattlesnake Creek they were highly entertained with good music performed by a live band including a drummer. No backing tracks in sight. Due to circumstances beyond our control the club night was moved to the 3rd Saturday which may have affected the attendance but if we receive requests for bands rather than single artists or duos these evenings must be supported if the club is to thrive. Next month another change of artist.Cole's Country will provide the entertainment on Saturday 8 October 2011 . He replaces Honky Tonkin' who were scheduled to appear. See you next month when we will do it all again. Keep it Country |

Would recommend anyone who has not yet seen him to take a look when he's in your area. I'd like to thank everyone for thier support at Rattlesnake Creek. | Message | Another evening of live country music @ Rattlensake Creek CMC on Saturday night. Wayne Stewart(a new name to most of the audience) entertained us with a good mix of country music which from the reaction kept most of the audience happy. You cannot please everyone all the time as country music is so varied. Some like the old style country (Hank and Merle) or like me prefer the modern gendre of country performed by Josh and Brad etc. Wayne to his credit covered both old and new country in his reportoir. Worth checking Wayne out again when he is the North East. See you all for Settlers Creek on Saturday 17 September 2011 (a week late due to the Leek club holding their annual show) |
