Jim Clark played some good music with lots of banter, I look forward to seeing him back at our club in the future. Unfortunely dennis and myself will not be there next month as we are going to the Americana (searching for new talent!), but we look forward to seeing you all in August.  |

| Message | A surprisingly entertaining evening with Jim Clarke on saturday night. The Acts for the last two months being exceptional but he held his own on stage. Although his repertoire of Country music is not to everyone's taste it was generally acknowledged during the evening that it was unusual and different for a solo artist not to cover the songs currently been sung by the majority of acts on the scene. His self penned compositions were quite good and vocally sound and in his general patter engaged with the audience present making for a pleasant atmosphere. Look forward to seeing you next month for Blue Rodeo,a duo from the midlands. As advised Wrangler (disbanding in August 2011)have been replaced with Settlers Creek for 17 September 2011. |

It was particularly pleasing to see the club almost full for the band and for those joining us for the first time hope you had an enjoyable experience at Rattlesnake Creek CMC and will venture to the club for future nights of country music. | Message | Fabulous evening of Country music from Spur. Should be winning British Country duo of the year every year.(they won in 2009 for those who may not know) Two very talented guys who enjoy their music whether it is covers or their own songs. The feedback has been brilliant from listeners and dancers alike. One question keeps being asked- When are they coming back? Future artists have a tough act to follow but next month we have C'est la vie. Come along and see an exceptional band for your entertainment. |
