MessagePlease pray for my dog, Shadow. She is 8 years old, and is a certified therapy dog through the Delta Society Organization. I adopted her from a friend approx 3 years ago and has been the sincerest joy of my life and all those around her. She comforts all from small children to the elderly and even the ferral cats living outdoors. Approx one month ago on a Saturday, I noticed swelling under her chin/jaw and took her that following Monday to the vet. The vet took a blood sample and also did a biopsy of a smaller lymph node in her rear right leg. Approx a week later, it was determined that she had lymphoma. I have chosen to not have her undergo chemotherapy as a result of "Golen Rule" thinking, and the vet put her on prednisone. So far, all swelling has drastically decreased. She has also been put on a raw meat diet. PLEASE keep her in all of yours prayers...she is too wonderful of a dog and has so much love to share with others...

MessagePlease pray for me, all the saints in Heaven, especially Saints Jude, Francis and Philomena, and my grandmother who is there waiting for me.

Please help me rid my body of this dread disease and restore me to health. This has come so suddenly, and I was so vital just a few months ago.

Please spare me pain and suffering, and spare those I so love any pain also. Please, if it is God's will, bring me back to health so I can live longer with my best friends. If I am to go, please help me find my grandmother right away, so I can be in her loving care and so I can lick her face once again.

Thank you dear God and all the saints in Heaven, and thank you for helping me to get rescued and find a good life with friends that gave me such a good life full of love, dedication, adventure, humor, camaraderie, sensitivity and fun.

Please help me.

MessageMolly May is a beautiful Golden Retriever that's only about 2and a half years old. She's the perfect dog my best friend she makes me laugh and makes me cry.She was diagnosed with lymphoma about 2 months ago.But now she has sores and blisters on her body and has a hard time breathing. We feel it's time to put her down but I don't know if I have the courage.I don't want to say good bye.The pain of losing her is just unbearable. She became the daughter I lost, the friend I never had and a pal I could talk to when there was no one else.I know people think it's just a dog get over it ,but not Molly. Some times I think she is part human and she gets me. I'm afraid I'm going to lose it mentally and there going to put me away like they did when I lost my daughter. It's just not fair. I just want Molly to know that I love her so much she will always be in my heart, our memories.I wished I could of done more for her.I want her to know there's a little girl in heaven named Jessica that needs a doggy too and she'll be waiting for Molly there. Lot's of love Molly Gods blessing to you. Your the best. Love Mom,Dad,Matt,Oscar and Bessy

BreedChesapeake Bay Retriever

Type of CancerLymphosarcoma
MessageMy dog Roxie is a 5 year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever (she will be 6 on Christmas day) that was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma today (10/24/09). The vet is not 100% sure it is lymphosarcoma as we are waiting to get the biopsy results back on Monday, but he has said that it is extremely likely she has the disease. Roxie is not just a dog to us--she is family. We are all devastated by the news and are hoping that Roxie will be able to be aggressively treated while maintaining the high quality of life she truly deserves.
My family (including Roxie and our 3 other dogs) and I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we go through this very difficult time. Our prayers are with all of you and your special family members as you fight a similar battle.
Thank you all and best of luck in your struggles.

MessageHi

My name is Rocky i was a young 5 years and 4 months old when i was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic lymphoma. My daddy was heart broken. At the first signs of my not feeling well my daddy took me to the vet. That vet thought i only had a stomach virus. He seemed lost and not too interested in finding the root of my not feeling well. So my daddy took me to another vet who diagnosed me woth liver disease. I spent a week in the hospital in tiny cage not happy. My daddy came to see me 3 times a day for a hour each time. At the end of the week i went home. I still didnt feel good and within another week i was back at the vets. This time i came very close to death. The drug Predisnolone saved my life but it also created some complications. After a couple weeks i was feeling better when the vets called and said take me off Pred and start giving me intrmuscular injections. OUCH! My daddy started but quit, he felt it was another misdiagnose. He took me too UC davis where they looked me over. They decided to biopsy my liver. Before they could though i developed Pacreatitus, and perionitus. I was back in the hospital for another 5 days.It was here they finally figured out i had cancer.I started chemo and was doing great feeling good till my second round. The next day i developed a temp of 104.2 and started shivering. My daddy noticed immediately and once again took me to the vet. I have been here for 1 day and i am hoping fever breaks soon and i can go home and be with my dad.
