Message | The International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) is a non-profit global food safety organization celebrating its 100th anniversary at the 2001 annual meeting in Milwaukee August 31-August 3.
On Monday night, August 1, starting at 7:00 pm, members will gather at the Milwaukee Art Museum on Lake Michigan for an indoor social.
We are wondering if local Harley riders might be willing to ride to the museum that night and make a grand welcoming presence outside as our members disembark from buses.
The art museum personnel say we can have a Harley display around the water fountain in front of the museum.
We expect IAFP attendees to start arriving at the museum about 6:45 pm. We’re asking Harley riders to be set up there by 6:30 pm. Simply park your bikes and mingle around them, and if any IAFP members or guests approach you, be your usual friendly selves.
We are asking that riders consider staying about 60 minutes, 90 if possible.
Feel free to share this memo with any and all Harley riders and related organizations.
Should anyone have any questions, they should feel free to contact me at any time.
In anticipation of your kindness to share your time and Harley enthusiasm with a group of great people who have traveled great distances to enjoy the best of our fair city, I am already thanking you for your kind consideration and hopefully favorable reply.
