| Message | I have read many of the articles on your website and found them to be quite insightful and as far as I have read biblical. I am also impressed with the directness in which you write yet you do so with a wonderful graciousness and charity of spirit. We have a small homechurch and have experienced a great deal of the things in which you write first hand as they relate to the institutional church. Unfortunately many of those around us do not see the insights in which you write and are vary wary of anything outside the boundries of their own comfort zones or the traditions that they have grown up with. While we strive to love all our brethren they generally want little or nothing to do with us. None-the-less we continue to pray for all our brethren wherever they may be found. | Message | Very interesting. My wife and I have not stepped into a church for months and we are struggling with the way we have been treated. I was treated like I was a threat from a pastor and my wife was criticized as well, but she did not give me permission to tell about her struggles. All we ever wanted to do is worship in the Spirit and we often asked other Christian's about home worship, but know one is interested in it. It is very rural out here in Iowa and there is a "religious spirit" of resistance here to any kind of informal Christianity.  With family and employment here, we do not feel like rooting up and moving, but trusting in the Lord to move in the heart's of His people. We do have some great friends that are still in an institutionalized church, and we are very thankful for them. May God Bless You in Christ for doing what is on your heart! |

| Message | Hello, I believe that God sent me to this page purposely for understanding. I had always had somewhat negative feelings about the church structure and I always felt that in a way i was wrong for feeling that way. I nearly read everything on your site and I feel blessed for that information, because I know that a Pastor can't lead me to salvation, only I can lead myself. Fellowship and Worship doesn't just happen on Sunday at church, it should happen everywhere, everyday.So I thank you for this website and the understandingand justification of my feelings.
