| Message | Served aboard Randolph 62-66,V-3 Div. Remember well the night we lost #3 elevator, fire in Hangar Bay 3,five over the side. Lost one from V-3 and one tractor driver from V-1. U.S.S. Holder rescued the other three. Would love to hear from other shipmates. |

| Message | I served aboard in E Division from 1963-1965. I have a tatoo on my left leg, along with 4 other E and M division sailors . It reads " August 1, 1974 State Capitol Bldg. Denver, Col. We had this done in 1964 for a 10 year reunion. The only guy I have kept in touch with is Chuck Manning. Where are you other 3. By the way I am the only one that showed up for the reunion. |

| Message | Reported to the Randolph Feb. 1960 as a IC3 attended two Class C schools in 60 took over the automatic telephone gang run it until making IC1 in May 1963. Left the Navy Jan. 64. Worked in the telephone field until final Retirement in 2004. |

| Message | My father Timothy Edward Callan served aboard the USS Randolph from March 16, 1967 to February 7, 1969. He died when I was 19 years old, I am now 38. I am just trying to find out more about his life and I welcome email from anyone who may have served with him and have rememberances to share. Thank you. |

| Message | My grandfather, James W. Ginn, was a crew member of the Randolph during WWII. He doesn't speak much of the war. Mainly just funny stories about powdered eggs and things of that nature. I appreciate and admire him above all men that I have ever met. It wasn't until a few years ago that I learned of the things he must have seen and felt while at sea. I can't imagine it. Kamikazes and nowhere to run. He has never wanted his family to try to imagine it. And I love him dearly for that. He now lives in Hartwell, Georgia, with his wife Rachel. They have 5 children and 15 grandchildren. |

| Message | Sir, My wife is caring for a former Naval Commander or Lt. Commander, named George Ozrow Baker. His memory isn't too good but there is plenty of pictures and awards. There is no family in Sarasota ,Florida where he now lives. We herd of a nephew in Texas some where, other than that no one. His eyes did light up when my wife took him a picture of the Randolph I took off the web site. We would like to try to talk with him if we could find something that might spark a memory. He has good days and bad days. On the good ones he tries to talk and on really good days they can have a conversation .He now 96. He served from 1929-1959. He also served aboard the USS Plunkett. | Message | Tom Generous. Was AT3 in VAW-12, Detachment 36, in CVG-7, aboard Randolph CVA-15, June 1958-March 1959. Would love to hear from the other twidgets: Billy W., CPO Simon, Mike C., Chris N., Paul H., George L., and AE Larry H. Saw Mr. Churchill from very close. May have seen the cold cat-shot J. Paul Harrison is asking about, but didn't know the pilot and remember nothing else. Do recall other tragedies and near-misses. Two hilarious moments: (1) A-4D heading for starboard side, pilot ejected and went horizontal when plane tipped in the catwalk, and (2) AD-5N rolling over the fantail when plane captain forgot the chocks. <>, |
