| Message | Hi Andry I have a problem and i'm hoping you may be able to help me. It was my son's 20th birthday yesterday and as a birthday present I'd promised to take him, and his girlfriend to see Martha Argerich at the BBC Prom no 60 on 30th Aug. He is a huge fan of Martha's and is currently working towards level 7 in piano, and as his teacher's best pupil he has been asked to perform at the Guildhall in Portsmouth next year which I'm sure will absolutely terrify him !! I was secretly hoping that I might have been able to arrange for him to meet her after the performance, just for a short while, it would have been the best birthday present he could ever have. Just checked the website to book the 3 tickets for the prom and they are sold out  Is there any way that I could make this happen? Or are there any other concerts that Martha is performing at, even abroad, that are in the next month or two. I was looking at the Verbier Festival, but couldn't see Martha listed on the line up. Any ideas would really help, thank you. X Frances |

| Message | any idea how to get argerich to the us? i would really like to see her sometime before she quits. she is like never in the us, heck if i had the money i'll go to europe and visit, but that's not within my budget. does she like take suggestions from people as to where she will perform or something? do you have to email or what? : ) why do argerich and zimerman boycott the us, what did we ever do to them except attend their concerts and buy their cds!! |
