| Message | Just to let you know. Martha Argerich canceled her concert last sunday (may 20) in Amsterdam. She was to perform with Nelson Freire, who had to carry the recital on his own, except for a guest performance by the two brothers Arthur & Lucas Jussen (10&14 yr old). Apparently Martha Argerich had serious family problems in Switzerland. According to todays newpaper De Volkskrant her granddaughter was missing. It was surely a dissapointment. Not only was the audience eagerly anticipating the concert. It was also the 20th anniversary of this particular concert series, and the Queen, crownprince and mayor were present. Nelson Freire's contribution can be listened to online in the week after May 27. Jacco |

Then I want to report you a little correction of Martha's schedule: in the italian website "Le Serate Musicali" is reported that Milan concert (duo recital with Nelson Freire) is not on May 14 but May 17, beucause Martha has changed the date... It was my first attempt to do photos with text, and I found that I was able to relive the time there, in this way. So, my pleasure! | Message | Sam, thanks for the info. However, there will likely be disappointment for the people who bought tickets thinking they'd hear these two more unusual concertos from Argerich. I wonder how the trumpet player feels or whether his unavailability was a factor. Must have been fun to meet her during rehearsals. |

| Message | Hallo, The Berliner Philharmoniker Concert (05 & 06 May 2007) with Argerich have some Programme changes. The Prokofiev & Shostakovich Concerts will no longer be played. Argerich will be playing Ravel Piano Concert in G instead. The rest of the programme stays the same. Argerich will be for sure there.
