Message	I think Martha should consider a holiday to New Zealand, in particular Nelson which is about to acquire a brand new Steinway from London for its school of music concert hall. A woman like Martha could find ample time to relax in the beauty of the South Island.

The word you object to has been shorthand for writing "Christmas" for hundreds of years, and the shorthand originated with the look of the original lettering and with Christians. I'll quote from the ending words on that page: ---------- "Even Webster’s dictionary acknowledges that the abbreviation Xmas was in common use by the middle of the sixteenth century. . . . It is simply another way to say Christmas, drawing on a long history of symbolic abbreviations used in the church ... Understanding this use of Christian symbolism might help us ... focus on more important issues of the Faith during Advent, and bring a little more Peace to the Xmas Season." ---------- I hope so.

Message	Although I'm sure you did not intend it as such, I was offended by the "X'ing" out of Christ in Christmas in a recent Kindle World article. We don't use X-zaa for Kwanzaa or X-kka for Hanukkah, yet everyone seems okay with crossing out the most important part of the word, Christmas. Please stop being one of them. Thanks for considering my request, Andrys.
