MessageI'm currently assigned as Deputy Commander/Chief Nurse 14th Combat Support Hospital, FT Benning, GA. The welcome mat is always out -- where ever in the world I may be. It's been great fun the past few years meeting up with fellow Army Nurse Corps officers who are SDSU ROTC grads. They are always doing well and doing great things!

MessageCurrently assigned to the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, KS as a tactics instructor. It's great to see many "old" friends in the guestbook. Once in awhile I come across a SDSU grad during my travels on the Combat Refresher Team. Stop by the Lewis and Clark Center at Fort Leavenworth when you come through as a student to visit. I graduated with the class of 1986, was branched field artillery, am married with four kids (two are in college already).

MessageWell, for now, Kosovo is still part of Serbia. I'm finishing up my second year as the US Civil Affairs Commander for US KFOR. I will be trying to get up to SDSU in the Fall of 2007. I haven't been up there for over 14 years. Still going strong in the "Mean Green Machine" and will start War College this spring. Upon return home, I'll return to my civilian job with the, you guessed it, the Army. I look forward to seeing Brookings in the Fall. Take care and if your ever in Eastern Iowa, pay me a visit, that's if I'm not deployed! Take care and be safe!

MessageCheck this Guestbook every once in a while. Good to see the new format. Currently, I am the commander of 2nd Bn 147th FA(MLRS) located in Northeastern South Dakota. Living in Webster, SD with wife Kari and five (yes 5) lovely daughters!

Wondering what has happened to everyone from the class of 1990. Drop me a line!

MessageThe newsletter and message board are a great addition to the ROTC website. It's great to see people are still alive after we have all gone are separate ways.

I'm currently the XO of B.Co. 153rd ENBN which will soon transform to the 211th Engineer Co. Sapper. I have had the opportunity to work in three of the four companies, and held four different duty positions, that make our BN now and even work for a fellow SDSU ROTC graduate, CPT Trent Bruce, commander of the B.Co. 153rd.

Reading of so many alumni that are again deployed over seas reminds me of a phrase from Basic Training "Stay Alert, Stay Alive!"

Looking forward to the next alumni reunion,

Heath Abraham
