I graduated from SDSU in 1966. I enjoyed reading about other ROTC graduates from SDSU. I retired from the Army after 27 years of service. I served in the Vietnamese army, the Saudi Arabian army and NATO. I will always look fondly on my time at SDSU.

Still assigned as Deputy Commander for Nursing, 14th Combat Support Hospital out of Fort Benning, GA. Currently deployed to Iraq. Primary mission is detainee healthcare. Interesting mission. Can't wait for a "cool" 90 degree high for the day!

Just checking in, and Kyle Hansen you'll be glad to know that I got to come home for a while. Still on active duty, recovering from some wounds suffered in Iraq (nothing too serious) and working for the Joint Munitions Command at Rock Island, Il while in the Wounded Warrior Program. About all for now.

Great to see names from the past. I (winter '78) and Mona (spring '79) took an early out when peace broke out in '92 and they wanted majors to leave the service. I've been in prison ever since. Okay, training staff at the SD State Pen for 13+ years and directing the training of the Wyoming Dept. of Corrections since June 2006. The plains are nice, but it's nice to be in the Rockies, too.

I guess the SDSU motto "You can go anywhere from here" is pretty much accurate because I just completed commanding a US Military Group at the US Embassy in Guyana. Am now a US Army Attache to Panama and am awaiting the eventual diversions for TDY deployments to the 'big dirty'.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Just checking the site to see what everyone is up to. Was good to see several familiar faces at the reunion this fall. Quite a few changes for me this year. Turned 40, switched jobs, and got married in October. I'm still in Sioux Falls, now work for POET managing the IT projects for the corporate headquarters and ethanol plants. Still in the guards at JFHQ in Rapid as the Deptuty J-6. mark.phelps@us.army.mil

Just looking to see what everyone is up to. I am currently working as a Retail Accounts Manager with KP Building Products. I am living in Burnsville MN. Have two kids, son Jordan who will be 5 in Sept. and daughter Hannah who turned 2 in May. Hope to make it to the reunion in September but may be away on business. Best wishes to everyone I know who is out there serving our country. Hope that someday Eric Holliday can come home since he always seems to be deployed someplace.
