| Message | Julie, I read the following today in your post: "Donald still mentions nearly every day how much he hopes he can preach. He is uncertain now how he can do so with such reduced lung capacity. He knows he is not strong enough to stand in the pulpit. (He wasn't strong enough to do that last fall in his preaching lab class.) He so desires to deliver God's Word and Message." Please tell him that he IS delivering God's Word and Message everytime you post something on this website. He may not be physically standing behind a pulpit, but you are ministering to everyone who reads your message. The Lord's work is being done. DeAnna |

| Message | Hi, friends! We think of you so often and offer up prayers in your behalf. Every time we go out into our garden, we see the plants the kids put out there. It is so hot and dry, the garden is about done for this year. Dwain found a zucchini on Truman's plants last week that we somehow overlooked! It is a giant zucchini - weighing almost 3 pounds and 12" long! It will make lots of zucchini bread! Probably not good for just steaming since it's so big. We had special prayer for you at Cana last night. We are hopeful that the Oklahoma doctor has hit the magic formula, but as you say, it's in God's hands. We can be assured that everything that happens to us passes through his hands, whether he allows it, like he did Job, or causes it. Julia, your great faith and always positive attitude and smile amaze us. We love you and will continue to pray. Sarah & Dwain PS - I have 13 more radiation treatments. All is going well. |

| Message | Dear Don & Julia, We just wanted you to know that we have prayed for your family for about a year now. We first heard of your need through Debi Nealis. We read your posts and are blessed to hear your depth of faithfulness and love of the LORD. We note your struggles and decisions and faithfully pray for the LORD to guide you and bless you each with His grace, wisdom, and peace that goes beyond understanding. We pray for the LORD to protect each of the hearts n your household from anger, resentment, loneliness, or bitterness. We pray that the LORD will give your family beautiful days and wisdom to know how to best spend them. Thank you Julia for the path you took me on as I read about your typical day. Know others are there with you. May the LORD meet your every need. We lost a baby daughter 14 years ago this month. It took a long time for me to see or understand why the LORD allowed such pain in our life. I was so broken. In time, I began to thank the LORD for her life and her death. I came to know the LORD unlike I had ever before. I so much miss our little girl we had so little time with, but could never trade the beautiful relationship I developed through her death. | Message | We continue to pray for you. Kids, your garden is very hot and dry, but we are continuing to get some zucchini and tomatoes. Dwain waters your garden and ours every day or two. We have shared the produce with friends at church and we tell them that some of the veggies come from your garden. Your flowers are blooming as well, but unfortunately, no peppers. Our peppers did not do well this year either! We treasure your friendship and miss you! |
