| Message | Dear B-Free, There aren’t enough words to express my deepest sentiment for you; but I would be regretful if I do not attempt to convey my feelings. From the day I met you at Southern University in 1998, I was moved by your Spirit. You gave me insight and inspiration to pursue Alpha. When you returned to your beloved Bowling Green, we kept in contact and you have been one of the most inspirational persons in my life. You embody the true Spirit and meaning of our dear fraternity. After getting my masters, you and I were planning on pursuing our doctorates together; you value education, as an Alpha should. You are a vital part of my life as an Alpha, and through the frat, our friendship has evolved. Because our paths are different, we hardly physically see each other, but in Spirit, you are always near. When I told you I was coming to OSU to pursue my doctorate, you worked diligently in trying to connect me with people, which is only one example of the kind of Brother that you are. I am eternally grateful to God for allowing me to cross your path and be apart of your Great Life. Your illness did not alter your Soul or your Spirit: You are a fighter. If I can be half the person that you are, then I’ll be grateful. Know that you have impacted my life deeply. I am forever your Brother and I will see you on the other side, so save room for your 4 Club. Also greet and grip the Jewels on my behalf. Love you. ‘06
