Message	I just found out that my Tabitha Briggs Myers father was John Briggs and her mothers last name was Starker. I think they were from the Schnectdny area in New York...would love to find out more about this side of the family. Tabitha was born around 1814 in NY. Thanks.

Message	My great grandfather was George Briggs, supposedly born in Maine in 1842 but who also might have been the George W. Briggs born in Lyman, Grafton, New Hampshire to Oliver Briggs. He was a cattle dealer in Utah Territory in 1880 and is believed to have died in Denver, Colorado in 1908. If anyone has information about what became of the Lyman, NH, George W. Briggs, I would greatly appreciate it.

Message	I am a direct descendant of David Dixon Briggs b abt 1830, Rome, Oneida County, New York. He came to NZ aboard a whaling ship at a young age. I looked at your Briggs photographs and saw the photo of Rev. Ansel Child Briggs b Sep 10 1847 Iowa., d Jan 10 1937 Oklahoma. The first thing I noticed was that he looked so much like the Briggs relations I have. I wonder if he is one on my ancestors.

Message	Thank you for your work on the Briggs family. My Briggs family migrated from Massachusetts to Western New York and on to Michigan. All the Briggs men, including my gg-grandfather Willard Nelson Briggs joined the Michigan First Cavalry and fought in the Civil War. I will try and get pictures scanned of W.N. Briggs for your site.
