MessageHi Fee!
Thank you for your kind words! We seem to be a lot a like. The "are you a dog person" applies, I get angry at the Animal Cops Show, at the flea market dealers, etc., and I love animals too. For me especially dogs! Too bad the whole world isn't full of people like us and the others that have signed my guestbook and blog.

smilie

MessageFirst of all keep up the good work on your website. It is such a joy to read and see pics of your baby. Secondly, what a very happy ending for Emma and her new human Mark. I hope he is very happy with her; once you own an APBT they change your life forever.
And I loved the article "are you a dog person"? Pretty much everything applies to me, my best friend, and my family.
I don't have HBO but I hear about the show Dealing Dogs. Every time I see something like that I either cry and get mad (usually both though). My Mom doesn't understand why I watch Animals Cops on Animal Planet. She says you know you're gonna get upset! It never ceases to amaze me the cruelty that people put animals through.
And our local flea market is just as bad! When I go I avoid the building where the animals are kept. It breaks my heart to see them in hot/cold weather stuffed in those small cages.
On a happier note, here are my babies nicnames:
Willow- Will Will or Will or Willow Poo
Cyclone- Cy or Cy Cy or my boy
Pixie (chihuahua)- Pix or Pixie Lee
Have a great day!

MessageHi Mark!
Sorry to hear about your Boxer, but I'm glad to know you're thinking about a pit.

Just know this, not everyone is suited for owning a pitbull. It takes a very responsible owner to keep up with a pitbull. They can be very head strong. Be sure to read up on links to decide if a pitbull is right for you. They can be a great, loving companion when raised properly and socially and with lots & lots of love. Shelters & rescues are a great place to look to give a pittie a second chance at life!

K.I.T. & let me know if you decide to get one.

MessageJust wanted to say I really enjoyed your site. Everyone should watch the video of the Sad Truth. I don't think it is too graphic because if people don't actually see the cruelty , they tend to think it does not exist. I have not had the pleasure of owning a pit yet, but our pet boxer died a couple weeks ago after 13 great years and Im considering a pit puppy. It appears that your pup has made you very happy.
If you know of someone with a female puppy that needs a home, please drop me a note. I live in NC as well

MessageHey Marcella!

Woah, you're hands will definitely be full, especially with another puppy! There were some malteses at the flea market, but I didn't see how much the man was asking for them. When I go back I'll check it out again.

Give my beautiful nieces a hug & a kiss for me!!

Love you all!

MessageHey Sis-in-Law~
Just checking out your site... haven't hit it in a while... my exciting Saturday night smilie Anyway...love the email Kay sent you... how true it is... the "dealing dogs" is just awful... I can't even watch stuff like that. I have to turn the channel. It makes me sick and breaks my heart.. I feel what I don't know, I can't ponder about. The dogs at the flea market, though, keep an eye out for me for either a maltese or minature poodle for Cierra... she's been asking for a dog for the past 3-4 years.. and of course we have 2 as you know and your beautiful new neice, so my hands are full. But, I may get her one if the "price is right" for her birthday. I know the maltese are expensive, but I wasn't sure how much they were at the flea market? Let me know if you venture out there again. They are very $$pricy up here, but I definitely want her to get a "little, tiny dog." It would be a surprise though. Anyway, hope all is well. Still waiting for you to get up here. Keep up the good work on your site. I wished people in Virginia could read more about this. The pit's are in awful situations up here. Bye! Love you! smilie
