MessageGreetings. I just learned that I am a descendant of John Leete(1500-1551) and Ellen Burgoyne (1500-1564). I enjoyed seeing the web site and would love to come for a visit. Does anyone know more about these two ancestors of mine? Feel free to contact me at the above web site. Thanks!

MessageHave just found the new Visitor`s book so I am making my mark!

The re-vamped site is absolutely fantastic. Very well done to all concerned.

I would very much like to see a diary where I could post information about forthcoming events that come to me for inclusion in Tail Corn. So far I have not had success at doing this. Perhaps I am not clicking in the right places!

Your photographs are great, David.

MessageHi, We are currently doing our family tree and have located our Great great granfather (Samuel Starr) who was from Little Eversden, he left in 1854. I noted on a recent message that a Jane Malcolm from Teesside also had a relative from Eversden. It would be great to see if there is any connection, you can contact me at my email address - [email protected].
PS - keep up the great work with the web page

Messagesmilie Its a long shot tracing my adopted family tree. I soent the winter off 1946/47 in Eversden area @ Manor Farm Rectory lane. The farm was owned by my uncle Howard. They produced fruit & pigs. There was a bakehouse over the road & a Spring for fresh water. My mothers name was Joyce Clara Jacklin before marriage in 1924. to Charles Edward Palmer in cambridge. My mothers father was a Boot Maker @ Fulbourne Assylum. My mothers sister Bertha Bull was Matron @ Chivers Histon. My mother also worked there as a nurse.
Any help on my family would be appreciated.

MessageMy name is Alan Eversden, seeking my ancestry. I've traced a great great grandfather William Eversden born 1811 from Gt Eversden, who married Sarah Cade in 1835, and lived in Little Eversden until he died in 1888. Does anyone have any knowledge of his parents?

MessageI,ve recently been researching my family tree and found that my maternal ancestors all came from Little Eversden. My great grandfater, James Starr left in 1900 with his new wife, Jane winn ( i think) and moved to industrial Teesside where I am today. It sounds such a pretty place and would love to visit one day.

MessageI married into the Eversden name three years ago. My husbands family all live in Western Australia. One day we hope to visit the village and see if we have any relatives.
