MessagePixydust: My sister won your "Rockabye Lullabye Doll w baby" for me for the following reason and I would like to share it with you. I simply love dolls! When I would get one for Christmas, they would make me the happiest little girl in the world. Today, at age 54, everytime I get another one I relive the same joy. I have two daughters who do not love them as much as I do, but because I love them so much, I have saved all of the dolls that have been given to them over the years. The oldes daughter is 29, and her name is Erin. Erin's stepgrandmother gave her a Rockabye doll when Erin was 5 years old. That doll was my all time favorite. Erin took her over to a very large apartment complex to play with a little friend. We were stationed in Germany at the time in 1983. The complex was actually military family living quarters. Erin came home without the doll!
She was not suppose to have her with her in the first place! She was unable to tell me "which house" her little friend lived in and so I "lost" her and have been searching for her every since.
When Nanny saw her on ebay, she knew that I had to have her. You have no idea how happy I am.
Payment for her has been mailed, and Nanny has enclosed a request for you to mail it to me at my home on Park Avenue. There is a chance that if it is left at her door someone in the neighborhood
may take it. Please email me and tell me how you got the doll. Thanks Forever!
Gwen Williams.

MessageI have the original Thumbelina but can not find her clothes. She is dressed but not with her original clothes, it seems they were stained and now I am looking for someone with a set. I also have all my Dawn dolls, in which some still have the plastic bands on their hair. There are a few of my Barbies with the band on there hair as well, I was afraid to mess the hair up so I kept the bands on while playing with them. smilie

Messageloved your pictures, i remember playing with the dawn doll in the mid to late 70's (at a friend's house). I begged my mom for one but she couldn't find them, they were discontinued.
