MessageFor my final paper in my "Victimology" class at John Jay College (New York, NY) I decided to write about homicide affecting pregnant women. During my research I came across Ashley's story. I admit, I am crying while I am writing these words. She was such a beautiful young lady. She did not deserve this. Her baby, oh God, her baby did not deserve this either. As a scholar in Criminal Justice,I must say, there is something really wrong with our criminal justice system. With all the resources and technology that are available today, she could still not be saved. Why? Why lunatics like her murderer can get their dirty hands on guns? Why?!
I am so very sorry for your loss. May God give you strength to live through this horror and Bless you with all His Might.
Sincerely, Rita B.

MessageSo sorry for your loss. My 35 year old daughter left her husband and four children for an abuser and meth maker. I pray she leaves him before he kills her. She has left several times but keeps returning. I will pray for peace for you. Your daughter and granddaughter have peace together now. I pray you can find peace also.
