| Message | I was made aware of this website's existence today (at the wake following a family funeral). I've ever been one for collecting photos, but a lot of my creative writing is based on local history, people, events, memories, etc .... hoping to publish a childrens' book soon in which the ENTIRE 'action' takes place between Cubbons' bakery (top of Ulster Road) and Springfield Park. |

| Message | Interesting website - brought back lots of memories. I grew up in Fitzgerald Road in Old Swan and I still walk down Fitzgerald Road when I go back to visit Family in England. If anyone is out there that remembers Me - wuld love to hear from you. |

| Message | Great photos.They bring back lots of memories. I lived in Montague Road as a kid when the mass graves were uncovered. The area of the mass graves was in front of 30 to 14 Montague Rd which is now the playground of the junior school. This was wasteland with a large wall in front There was around 5 houses were the school is now.There were NO gravestones. As kids playing there we found human bones and teeth in this area So the nicely stacked coffins doesn`t sound right. Anyway once again a great site. |

Loved the photos of Derby Lane and I remember Brian Hogarth who submitted some of the photos and Mac's ( fond memories especially of the phone booth inside the shop! ) Brian was a friend of my brothers, Happy Days |
