Years ago I would come with Judy Fillback when you were having parties and celebrations. Once I was there for a Thanksgiving Dinner. Maybe I saw you then. | Message | Happy Golden birthday, Mitch! I was honored to meet you when I was on the Hodan Board along with your mom who has the same name as me. I saw you at a Hodan Memorial service when you were one of the speakers. You did an excellent job! I saw you at Ruth Mitchell's memorial service where I discovered you were named Mitch in honor of your mom's friendship with Ruth and the whole Mitchell family. I think you introduced your grandma when she received an award at the ARC banquet. I know how much you love your family and how much they love you, too. Over the past few years I've seen you at other occasions at the Hodan Center. Every time, you were always smiling and joking and talking with people. You are a true inspiration and wonderful role model for everyone at the Hodan Center. I understand you've had many physical challenges during your short life. Suffering is a mystery that's hard to understand. But I believe God has a plan for each of us and He has a very special plan for you. I also believe that the bigger the cup that holds our suffering, the more joy God can put into it. May God fill your cup overflowing with joy in this life and in the next! I will say 27 prayers for your 27th birthday. I believe that God loves the prayers of those in wheelchairs. I know that prayers are powerful and yours are probably extra powerful so would you please say a prayer for me?
