Message | Worked in commercial sales & marketing in DAR ES SALAAM,MOMBASA,NAIROBI NDOLA,LUSAKA,SALISBURY, & JOHANNESBURG from 1956 to 1971. Last position Manager Zambia & Malawi. Flew in each and every aircraft and have many happy memories.Remember Robert Onreat, Harold Groombridge and Henry Williams in particular not forgetting many of the flight crew on the various routes. Flew on the Dominie, DC3,Canadair,Britannia, Super VC10,Comet 4. There was even a DC9 for a short period ! There are many names and details in the book "EAST AFRICAN, An airline story by Peter Davies. T'is well worth reading !Many more names too many to mention |
