MessageMy sincerest condolences to everyone that had the privilege of meeting or training with Shawn. I live in Reno and I never got the chance to meet him but I always wanted to. His work was nothing short of selfless. He loved MMA and MMA loved him. To train and take people to the next level as he did in the most intense, difficult sport shows his character as a human. I would give anything to have an ounce of his drive. Shawn I never knew you but I am deeply saddened at losing you. Shawns family and friends... I am so sorry he was taken so soon in life. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell you my thoughts.

MessageI am sorry for your loss. Tompkins was a stud and I was actually learning alot about him and what he did for so many people and a coach and as a person and that is when I found out that he had passed away. I know that he is in a better place now. R.I.P coach Tompkins

MessageI had never met the coach, but mixed martial arts is a large part of my life and Shawn was well known and respected. It was a shock to me and many of my friends, that he had passed away. The good ones always die young and you will be missed Shawn. You have made a positive effect not only on the people you have met and crossed your path, but also on the people you have never met! Rest in peace brother

MessageShawn was my kickboxing coach when he had his classes in London, Ontario. My girlfriend and I loved his classes and truly missed him when he relocated. He'll always be in our hearts. Love ya Shawn, you were a great and positive motivator.
