| Message | I just discovered David DQ Lee through his mind-blowing performance of Handel's Va Tacito (BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2007)- this is incredibly sublime and even though it is now 2020, this is food for the mind and soul. Though I have always loved baroque music having studied classical piano many years ago (and for many years), operas have only come onto my radar rather recently, and David's performance is so inspiring to learn more. I can only hope that live performances will return soon, and that David will have some Canadian concerts. |

| Message | I haven't seen much of you David in several years. I hope you are still an active countertenor. I well remember your performance in Handel's Susanna. The aria Chastity thou cherub bright was brilliantly sung but I was disappointed in that the aria was not sung in its ABA (Da Capo) form. Please keep up the good work and I hope to see something from you in the very near future. |
