MessageI'm really pleased that I followed the link from Expecting Rain. I, too, was at Blackbushe. It was a very surreal experience, being two days before I was moving to work in Canada. My accomplice was Seamus, who succeeded in passing out as Bob arrived on stage. This was quite a feature, it also occurred with CSNY at Wembley, Pink Floyd at Knebworth and the immortal Roy Harper at Leicester De Montfort Hall. Happy days.
I'm looking forward to reading more.
Best Wishes,
Chris

MessageI thought your first chapter was a great read! I'd love to read more and wallow in nostalgia with Dylan ever-present in the background.

MessageI was at the Earls Court Bob concerts in the same year, the crowd was huge and a party mood in the air, but there was a old hippy lying in the street, beard, beads, wide brim felt hat, etc, zapped unconcious and on his side, either thru drink or drugs, and everyone just stepped over him. you were pretty lucky.

same thing would probably happen today, mind.

nowadays the guy that calls the ambulance services is the one that pays the call out charge.
